Cedar Key Inshore Fishing Report It’s Time To Start Fishing. March had up and down temperatures so the fish we’re a little confused but the fish bite has been good and is getting a lot better. The Speckled Trout are back on the flats and fishing in 3 ½ to 4 ½ feet of water seems best, but fish the cuts and drop offs too.
