Winter time can slow the fish up some, so be patient and try slow jigging off the bottom too. The Sheepshead are biting near docks, bridges and rock piles using fiddler crabs, oysters or shrimp. The Speckled Trout are really liking the cooler weather and the Redfish are still biting good on the oyster bars and islands. The gag grouper and red grouper are biting good in 38 to 50 feet of water and the King Fish are here too, there seem to more of them in 20 to 35 feet of water. The Spanish Mackerels are here also in the same areas.

The trout have started hitting again and they seem to be in the deeper grass flats, but we are catching them when red fishing too around the bars and shallow waters.
