Steinhatchee, Florida Fishing Guide Captain Steve Kroll
If you have the luxury of picking the best day to fish, there is a lot of fun to be had.
Last week the seas were flat and we ran out to 25′ of water. We caught a bucket full of big black sea bass. The kind with the knots on their forehead. We caught the bucket full in just a?couple of hours.
This past Tuesday I took a couple guys from South Carolina fishing.
While we looked for redfish, we caught and released 100 trout. We did not find the redfish.
If you decide to catch and release trout, please do it gently. I attempt to remove the jig head with pliers and I try not to touch them at all. I don’t even use a net when I am releasing them.
Stay warm, be careful and God bless.

Ya it’s cold now but I love Steinhatcee and can’t wait for the warm weather gets here. LOL, Business is slow for me now so if I’m lucky it will still be bad when the good weather gets here.
