A Steinhatchee Fishing Report From Pepper Fish Key Charters

pepperfish_key_galmour_shotBig Bend fishing fans, the Reds have bunched a little, and what that means?is that when you can get yourself in front of one of these schools, they’ll bite and bite hard. I think it’s their competitive nature when bunched up.

Twice last week I was able to get the boat in the right place at the right time. We caught two upper slot Reds the first morning and six the next, on topwater! Reds on top is an awsome strike. While waiting on Reds to show we caught some nice Trout on top as well.

By the end of the week the flats warmed up quite a bit, and the Trout bite slowed.

Hang on though, there is a forcast low of 58 Thursday morning. I am looking forward to some great fall fishing cranking up in a few days.

GOD Bless and Good Fishing
