We had a charter of 4, on a half day trip, headed to 25-28 ft of water.
It was kinda rough and “one didn’t fish”, but the other three had fun with plenty of keeper sea bass, grunts and 2 nice keeper grouper, with a few shorts that were released unharmed.
The bite was good and steady, we didnt have any live bait and I bet we would have done better with pin’s. All were happy, and I look for the keeper gags to be in 28–40 ft here from now on, but the reds will be in deeper water.
