The Bass bite on the Ocklawaha River, near Ocala, Florida has exploded over the past few weeks.
Just today we caught and released a dozen Bass in about 2 hours, ten of them were over 5 lbs.! The big Bass of the day weighed almost 10 pounds. Not bad for late September.
As I’ve said before, “It’s football season”. That’s what these lunker Largemouths resemble, a football, short and fat!
