Largemouth Bass fishing on the Ocklawaha River has improved over the past few weeks. We’ve had several decent trips with limits of Bass being caught, along with several fish over 5 lbs.
Look for conditions to improve over the next few weeks. Early morning is still your best bet for landing that lunker, but anytime is a good time to go fishing.
Most of the invasive aquatic vegetation (hydrilla and coon tail moss) have been killed offf by the higher water level. Along with the higher water levels comes an increase in the number of snags and obstructions on our rivers and lakes. As always use caution when on the water.
Til next time…see you on the Rivers!
