Bass fishing on the Ocklawaha River has been outstanding over the past few months. When you lose track of how many fish are caught on a given day, that is my definition of a good trip!
Lot’s of 3 to 5 pounders, with the ocassional wallhanger over 8 pounds, has been the norm over the past several trips. Hopefully this outstanding bite will continue. This is a great time of year to be fishing in beautiful Ocala/Marion County.
Pictured above is another Ocklawaha Largemouth bass complete with happy angler.
Until next time, see you on the River!
