Ocklawaha River Bass Fishing Is Outstanding and Continues To Improve

Bass fishing on the Ocklawaha River near Ocala has been outstanding over the past few months, and continues to improve as we move into our first spawn of the year. The majority of Largemouth recently caught have been over 3 lbs., with multiple fish over 6 lbs. on just about every trip. This is by far the best time of year to target that Trophy Largemouth. Congratulations, we have made through another year. I just realized it’s been several weeks since I posted an article. Apologies. We have had a great year, very blessed year and looking forward to 2014. The last few weeks here in Steinhatchee have been a lot of fun, with Family, Friends, Fish and Food. We are catching Speckled Trout in the river regularly. Some days we have to hunt a little, but hey! can’t be easy every day. The creeks are also holding fish, usually bigger.
