Ocklawaha Fishing Report
From Ocklawaha Fishing Guide Captain Nick
Although the water level on the Ocklawaha River near Ocala continues to drop, the Bass fishing has picked up. Recently we have had no problem limiting out on “keeper” Largemouths and several “lunkers” over 6 lbs..
This time of year the fish bite best early in the a.m. or late in the p.m.. Coincidentally, it’s also a very comfortable time of day to fish.
Best bait as always: “You either got wild shiners, or you need ’em”.
