What started off as a good early fall Bass bite has become one for the record books. Trip after trip our clients have been catching Largemouths in the 3 to 5 lb. range, typically finishing off the trip with a lunker between 6 and 8 lbs.
Phil and Nancy Becker of Ocala took a half day trip with us on Wednesday, 10/20, that was no exception. Phil caught a half dozen Bass with a total weight of about 20 lbs.. Like a true sportsman, Phil released the “Big Fish” of the day, an 8 pound Trophy Largemouth.
Outstanding for any time of year, especially October.
