The Largemouth Bass bite has improved over the past few weeks .Although we’re not getting many fish over 6 pounds, the number of fish caught has improved.
Recently the a.m. bite has been best. Typically between 8 and 10 a.m..
This last cold front that passed thru last week slowed the bite, but I expect it to get back to normal this week.
Although the water level on the Ocklawaha River is very low, most of the snags and submerged obstructions were removed last week. As always, use caution when navigating any body of moving water.The snags and obstructions are constantly on the move.
