Inshore fishing off the Levy and Citrus County Coasts has improved over the last few weeks.

Record numbers of good sized Speckled Trout have been caught around the Trout Stake, just north of the Withlacoochee River.

The Redfish bite has also improved. The best time to fish for the Reds is on the last of the flood tide. For best results use either cut Mullet or pinfish fished under a popping cork.

The Seatrout bite has been best on the outgoing tide, preferably in the a.m..”Cajun Thunders”, tipped with pinfish are hard to beat for that once in a lifetime “Gator Trout”.
