Change Is In The Air

pepperfish_key_galmour_shotHey Everybody, Scallop season ended on the 10th and we are already into full swing with our fall fishing schedule.

?Trout continue to bite sporadically, deep and in shallow flats. I’m fishing cut bait under corks to produce the best trout catches. Gulp under cork works also. I think as the water cools a little more, artificials will do the job.

Redfish have been very dependable most days. They are still scattered though. But I know fall is in the air, I’ve caught Reds in places? that I had not seen them this summer. Change is good, and I don’t mean the kind our president is pushing.

God Bless and Good Fishing
Captain STEVE KROLL

P.S. The offshore reports have been sporadic also, cooling water however, is going to help that fishing as well.

P.S.S. Check back in soon, I’ll write about my snook trip to the Everglades with my Dad that we recently went on.
