I’ve been quite busy over the past week. Had five fishing trips in the past 8 days. “Dirty job, but somebody’s got to do it”!
Three out of the five were saltwater trips, fishing the grass flats off the Levy/Citrus County Coast for Spotted Sea Trout.
Lots of limits and several Gator Trout (over 20 inches) caught recently. Best bite seems to be on the outgoing tide.
Best bait seems to be a jig, fished under the deadly “Cajun Thunder”.
If you’re looking for that huge “Gator Trout”, now is the time to book your trip.
When planning your next fishing trip, don’t forget your “T’s”
…TIME-TIDE-TEMPERATURE.
