Timing is Everything!
Had several productive days last week fishing the lower,(down river), end of the Ocklawaha River…
Been launching at Gores Landing, just south of Ft.McCoy and fishing both north and south of the ramp.
Lot’s of Large Mouth Bass action, and some of the most aggressive bites I’ve seen in some time..
Also, lots of snags across the river. I wouldn’t recommend launching here unless you have an extremely shallow draft boat!
Certain times of the year, the Bass will start to bed..Just prior to that there will be a pre-spawn bite…That time is NOW………..
