In Cedar Key sea trout seem to moving into the deeper water at about 8-12 feet, out by seahorse reef in the grass patch on the southeast side, also Spanish n King Mackerel are there as well. Bottom fishing with just enough weight to get it to the bottom using chum and shrimp or Cajun Thunder corks and jigheads with shrimp.
Cobia are still patrolling the flats and there are plenty of sharks to tangle with. The red fish are biting well around the oyster bars, the islands and passes. Crestnot and snake keys are good bets.
