Bass fishing on the Ocklawaha River was excellent throughout the month of February. We had multiple trips with “Lunker Largemouths” over 8 lbs., caught and released.
More recently, the bite has been good, although most of the fish caught have been between 4 and 6 lbs. but it’s not bad for March.
Expect the size and number of Bass to improve in the near future as they come off the bed.
