The Largemouth bite was off a bit during the first couple of weeks in November. After 3 months of outstanding Bass fishing we had finally hit a lull.
More recently the Largemouth bite has improved, although we haven’t seen many fish over 5 lbs. yet.
On our most recent trip ( 10/26) Mr. Rob Smith, and his son Harry. caught and released over a dpzen “Ocklawaha Largemouths”. Not bad for a lull.
I expect the Bass to begin their pre-spawn bite anytime now. This is by far the best time of year to catch big numbers of Trophy Largemouths.
Pictured below is Harry with another Ocklawaha Largemouth.
Till next time…see you on the River
Good Luck
