I had a party of 3 go for some grouper fishing, the wind and seas weren’t the best, we went to 45 ft and worked our way back to 25 ft.
We were using menhadden, sardines, and cut bait. we ended up with 5 nice gags, 1 red grouper, about 30 sea bass and some grunts, with a good amount of 1/2 inch shorts.
The red grouper are still alittle deeper, but plenty of gag grouper and sea bass. the bite was good all day and all were happy with plenty of fish. we didnt have live bait today, and I believe at 25 to 35 ft, live bait is best., so till next time, tight lines and good luck
Till Next Time, Good Luck and Tight Lines
