The Largemouth Bass bite has exploded on the Ocklawaha River.
After several months of high water levels and fast moving current, the stars have finally all aligned, and conditions are perfect for some world class Bass fishing.
On our most recent half day trip, a single client caught and released over a dozen fish, including a lunker Bass tipping the scale to 10 lbs.. Lots of 3 to 5 lb. Largemouths were landed, as well as a huge Florida Pike (Chain Pickerel). Expect the bite to improve as the first spawn of the year approaches.
Pictured above is Keith from North Carolina and yours truly showing off a couple of Florida wallhangers.
Until next time, see you on the River!
