The wall hanger Bass are schooling up on the Ocklawaha River. On Wednesday of last week we fished several different locations on the River at different times of the day with good results both in the a.m. and p.m.
Tuesday, 12/21, we fished for about 3 hours in the late afternoon and ended up catching 10 Bass in the last 30 minutes of the trip. Most of the 10 were legal sized Bass with the largest weighing in at 5 lbs.. Although we didn’t set any records, we spotted several huge Bass that will soon be bedding.
Expect the bite to get even better throughout the next 2 months.
