The Largemouth Bass bite on the Ocklawaha River near Ocala has steadily improved over the past month or so. Recently the numbers, as well as the size of fish caught, has increased.
On our latest trip, January 27th, my clients caught and released about 20 Largemouths, including several over 5 pounds. Expect this trend to improve as we approach our first spawning period of 2015.
