Mr. Howard Coda, of Waldo FL, along with 2 of his fishing partners, Dan and Ehane, caught several nice Bass between 2 and 6 pounds on Monday, 10/11.
Although we didn’t set any records, the majority of Bass caught were quality fish, and the scenery is second to none.
The waters of the Ocklawaha River north of Ocala are pristine clear this time of year, and you can literally watch the fish swim up and take the bait! “Like fishing in an aquarium”. Mr. Coday, a native of Oklahoma, said it was one of the most beautiful rivers he had ever fished…I agree.
Look for upcoming cold fronts to trigger the Bass bite in the near future..
Pictured below is Dan L. of Washington State with a couple of nice Oklawaha Largemouths.
Until next time, see you on the O.K. River
Good Luck
