Christie at the Sea Hag said all their charters inshore and offshore had excellent catches last weekend. The grouper bite is on and they are moving in closer. The Red Fish bite was down a bit from the previous weekend but it was still good and the trout continue to be a biter.   Also, Christie wanted to remind you of the upcoming fishing tournaments. Fishing is Getting Good in Cedar Key, Florida

Don at Cedar Key Marina says the water is a little stained but fishing is good and people had good results fishing last weekend. The Grouper are moving in close and some are being caught insight of land. A lot of fish are being caught on the reef and Spanish Mackerel are doing well there also. It’s Great to Be Fish’n in Steinhatchee.

Christie at the Sea Hag in Steinhatchee says the fishing is great inshore. And the both the Red Fish and Trout are hot.? The Flounder are biting as well and this weekend all charters are booked and all of them are booked for the whole day. The Grouper are biting too and are moving in close and some are being caught within sight of land. The Mix …………….The Perfect Day!

We fished the southern end of the Big Bend Region Friday and Saturday of this week. THE MIX Friday we took the airboat and fished the “skinny water’ around Lowes Bay and the Withalacoochee Reefs area off the Levy County coast. Started out about 9 a.m. and immediately spotted a school of huge Black Drum (30-50 lbs.) around a submerged oyster bar.? Steinhatchee: It’s work off-shore, inshore are bringing in limits

Christie at the Sea Hag said fishing is definitely picking up. Although the weather has hampered fishing off shore for the last week all inshore charters have been coming back with their limits for Reds and Trout. The Gulp New Penny is doing well as is the Perl White. Also the Skitter Walk is bringing in good fish.
