Bass Bite On the Ocklawaha River Remains Good

The Largemouth bite on the Ocklawaha River has remained good over the past month, Although I expect our prolonged summer like temperatures to delay our next spawning cycle. On our last few trips we’ve caught good numbers of keeper sized fish, 2 to 3 lbs., but only a couple over 5 lbs. Expect the size and number of fish caught to increase shortly after the cooler weather arrives. The Keeper And Wall Hanger Bass Are Biting

The Largemouth bass bite on the Ocklawaha River has been very good lately. Big numbers of keeper-sized Bass, along with the occasional wall hanger has been the rule over the past month or so. Additionally, the bite window has been exceptional for this time of year. Typically you could set your watch by the morning bite on the River. From first light until 10 a.m. the action is non-stop. Bass Fishing Continues To Improve

Bass fishing on the Ocklawaha River has been good over the past month or so, and should continue to improve as cooler weather approaches. Early morning remains the best time, and wild shiners are your best bet for bait to catch that fish of a lifetime. The Bass Bite On The Ocklawaha River Has Improved

The Largemouth bass bite on the Ocklawaha River has improved over the past month. Typically, August is one of our least productive months for Bass fishing, but as they say there is an exception for every rule. On our last few trips, we’ve caught and released several limits of Largemouth, between 3 to 5 lbs., including one lunker a little over 7 lbs.. Excellent for this time of year. As Predicted the Largemouth Bass Bite Has Improved

As predicted the Largemouth Bass bite on the Ocklawaha River improved over the past month. Our last few trips have produced several lunkers over 6 lbs., including one a bit over 9 caught just this morning. Expect this trend to continue as the spawning Bass come off the bed.
