With the water temperature cooling down, the trout & redfish are biting good. Most anglers are using live shrimp, mud minnows and cut mullet.
The bigger trout seem to be biting better on a Carolina rig use as little weight as possible to keep your bait just off the bottom. You can’t go wrong using a Cajun thunder & popping cork.
The sheepshead are staring to bite around the docks and rock piles inshore.
The Spanish mackerel are still here in plenty of numbers, they’re best out on the edge of sea horse reef in 8 to 12 feet of water.
