Cedar Key Inshore Fishing Report The speckled trout are biting great in 4 to 6 feet of water on Cedar Key’s grass flats and the cooler weather has really turned them on. We catching them with using popping corks, live shrimp or gulp baits. The redfish are hitting great too around the sand bars and cuts, they seem to love cut mullet, live shrimp and gulp baits. Fall Bass fishing on the Ocklawaha River is alive and well!

Bass fishing on the Ocklawaha River is alive and well. Our last few trips have produced big numbers of quality fish as well as several lunkers over 5 lbs.. Expect the numbers to improve as we approach the first spawning period of the season. The Largemouth regulations have changed this year. The catch limit is the same (5), but only 1 over 16 inches.
