Although we didn’t load the boat, the Bass we caught were all over 4 lbs. Lots of beds, but only a few were occupied. Look for the next full moon and the passing cold fronts to trigger that pre-spawn bite. A Crystal River, Citrus County, Levy County and?Yankeetown, Florida Fishing Report From Gulf Coast Fishing Guide Captain Nick GET-UM WHILE YOU CAN Surface water temp’s off the Citrus/Levy County coasts have been in the lower 50’s this past week, which translates to fish populations going both shallow and deep. Friday, 1/23, we fished about 18 miles offshore and though there were no Grouper, we did catch several nice Sheephead in the 5-7 lb. range.
