<p>Although the water level on the <em>Ocklawaha River</em> near Ocala <em>continues to drop</em>, the Bass fishing has picked up. Recently we have had no problem limiting out on &#8220;keeper&#8221; Largemouths and several &#8220;lunkers&#8221; over 6 lbs..</p>
<p>This time of year the fish bite best early in the a.m. or late in the p.m.. Coincidentally, it&#8217;s also a very comfortable time of day to fish.</p>
<p>Best bait as always: &#8220;You either got wild shiners, or you need &#8216;em&#8221;.<br />
