This Ocklawaha Fishing Report From Ocklawaha Fishing Guide Captain Nick
The number of Bass we’ve recently caught on the Ocklawaha River per trip is down compared to last year at this time, but the size is definitely up.
I pre-fished a couple of spots on Monday, 11/22, for an upcoming trip and ended up with a 4, 7, and 8 lb. Bass. Not bad for less than 2 hours of fishing.
Although the last 10 lb. Largemouth Bass a client caught was Sept. 28, we’ve managed to get a 5 lb. Bass or better on every trip since.
Recently we’ve accumulated a couple of inches of rainfall which should help with the numbers. Thanks to the man upstairs for that!
