Palm Beach Father and Son Team Up To Slay The Bass
Harold and Rocky McDade of the Loxahatchee area of Palm Beach County teamed up to slay the Bass on the Ocklawaha River.
They caught 25 Largemouths in 4 hours, one of which weighed 8.5 lbs.
Rocky caught the “Big Fish” of the day, while his dad got the most, including a double (a Largemouth Bass and an Alligator Gar on one hook)!
These guys were really on top of their game. As well as being avid fishermen, they are true sportsmaen and released every fish.
Good for you guy’s. Hope I get to fish with you again soon!

Don’t Miss The Boat
Record numbers of Largemouth Bass are presently being caught on the Ocklawaha River.
More schooling Bass than I could count surrounded my boat on two separate occasions this week. I actually lost count on how many we caught on our trip today, June 11.
Most of these schoolers are under the legal limit, but there are a considerable number of keepers moving with them. Several of the Bass we caught were over 5 lbs.
The schooling Bass will bite almost any fast moving “twitch”type bait you throw at them, while the larger ones prefer, as always, wild shiners.
Now’s the time, don’t get left at the dock, get your limit of Largemouth Bass while they last
